The Hungarian actress and socialite was pronounced dead at the hospital on Sunday, December 18 after suffering from a heart attack.

AceShowbiz - Hollywood lost another iconic superstar on Sunday, December 18. Zsa Zsa Gabor, a Hungarian actress whom many consider as the original Kim Kardashian, passed away that day after suffering from a heart attack. TMZ, which broke the news, reports that she was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Her death has been confirmed by Edward Lozzi, her friend and publicist who had represented her on and off since 1989. "She did not suffer fools well. Zsa Zsa Gabor was one tough cookie. Her beautiful lips and mouth would also be her worst enemy when and if she turned on the verbal machine gun. Most of her problems originated from that beautiful mouth. Zsa Zsa Gabor will always be an American icon and the klieg in the Gabor-Hilton dynasty," said Lozzi.

Gabor was 99. Prior to her passing, she suffered various health problems over the years. Last February, she was rushed to the hospital after having trouble breathing. She had a stroke in 2005, broke her hip and suffered a concussion in 2010, and had her right leg partially amputated in 2011 due to an infection.

Born in Budapest, Hungary on February 6, 1917, Gabor was a famous socialite in Beverly Hills years ago. She's the middle of three sisters. Her sisters Eva and Magda were also socialites.

Gabor's best known for appearing as herself on TV and spoofing her active social life. She's also famous for having married a bunch of rich men, including Paris Hilton's grandfather Conrad Hilton. From the 1942-1946 marriage to the hotel magnate, she had a daughter named Francesca. The only child of Gabor, she died in January 2015.

Gabor got married to seven other men, including actor George Sanders, Jack Ryan and Felipe de Alba as well as her own divorce attorney before she tied the knot with Frederic Prinz Von Anhalt in 1986.

After her death, many famous faces in Hollywood took to social media to pay tribute to Gabor. Larry King tweeted on Sunday, "There will only be one Zsa Zsa Gabor. And, I liked her a lot. Rest In Peace, my dear." Andy Cohen simply wrote on his own Twitter page, "#ZsaZsa #RIP."

"RIP Zsa Zsa Gabor. 99 years old, 9 husbands, Miss Hungary & Hollywood star. What a life!" said Piers Morgan. Barbara Eden wrote, "Rest in peace Zsa Zsa Gabor. She and her sisters were lovely ladies who were always fun and delightful to be around."
