AceShowbiz - "The Good Wife" story will continue in "The Good Fight". The spin-off gets first trailer offering a glimpse at Christine Baranski's return as Diane Lockhart and promising that "things will get nasty." "Practicing the law you don't go on instinct. You wait, you listen and watch," she says. "Eventually everyone reveals themselves."
A year after the finale of "The Good Wife", an enormous financial scam destroys the reputation of young lawyer Maia and wipes out the savings of her mentor Diane. The two are forced out of Lockhart & Lee and join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicago's pre-eminent law firms.
Cush Jumbo is cast as Lucca and Rose Leslie as Maia. Containing 10 episodes, the new series is set to premiere February 19, 2017 on CBS All Access.
