Alec Baldwin's version of the President-elect gets a surprise visit from Vladimir Putin and receives a gift from him on 'Saturday Night Live'.

AceShowbiz - Alec Baldwin returned as Donald Trump to help "Saturday Night Live" caps off the year of 2016. He got a surprise visit from Vladimir Putin (Beck Bennett). Dressed up as a shirtless Santa, Putin gave Trump an elf doll bugged with a recording device. "This is Elf on the Shelf. It's fun, you just put it right here next to your internet router," he said. When Trump apologized for not having any gift for him, the Russian president responded with a secret smile, "Please, Mr Trump, you are the gift."

Trump was also dissed for his misspelling on Twitter. He previously tweeted, "China steals United States Navy research drone in international waters - rips it out of water and takes it to China in unpresidented act." Dictionary Merriam-Webster called him out, "The #WordOfTheDay is...not 'unpresidented'. We don't enter that word. That's a new one." Baldwin also poked fun at him ahead of "SNL" as he deadpanned on Twitter, "I won't apple-agize."

On top of that, the President-elect was mocked over his meeting with Kanye West. "I know Kanye. He's using my colourist now. He just says whatever he feels. He's like me, but a black," he quipped.

In a different skit, Kate McKinnon reprised her role as Donald Trump's rival Hillary Clinton. She visited an elector in a "Love Actually" spoof.
