According to the 90-year-old singer, the 'Single Ladies' hitmaker approached him at an event with the collaboration idea.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles might be working on new music with Tony Bennett. Tony says the "Single Ladies" hitmaker approached him at an event and said she had something in mind that they could potentially work on together.

"Beyonce. She's thinking of something to do with me," the "In San Fransisco" hitmaker tells PEOPLE, "We met at a benefit, and she said, 'I've got an idea that we should do something together.' She didn't tell me what it was yet, so we'll see what happens!"

Beyonce isn't the only diva Tony has plans to collaborate with. The 90-year-old singer says he would like to work on a follow-up to his Lady GaGa collaboration "Cheek to Cheek".

"There's still a lot I'd like to do," Tony shares, "I'd love to do a second album with Lady GaGa. She was performing at a benefit the first time I met her. I told her backstage, 'You were terrific! I'd love to do an album with you someday.' She said, 'Let's do it!' Boom! We get along great. We've been close ever since."

GaGa will honor the legendary singer alongside Elton John, Michael Buble and Stevie Wonder during a two-hour music and comedy special "Tony Bennett Celebrates 90", airing on NBC on December 20 at 9 P.M. ET.
