The 'Patriots Day' actor confirms in a new interview that he is no longer involved in the upcoming video game adaptation.

AceShowbiz - Mark Wahlberg has bowed out of the long-gestating movie "Uncharted". The actor was originally expected to play the lead role of treasure hunter Nathan Drake in the upcoming PS3 video game adaptation.

"As of now, no, I'm not attached," he told We Got This Covered when asked about his involvement in the long-delayed project during "Patriots Day" press junket. He added, "If I was, you would have heard about it."

Written by Joe Carnahan and directed by Shawn Levy, the movie will follow Nathan in an Indiana Jones-esque adventure as he searches for the lost treasure of El Dorado. A descendant of explorer Sir Francis Drake, Nathan has to face off rival hunters and mutated creatures in his dangerous journey to learn the treasure's true secrets.
