They Mean It! Kardashians Not Backing Down Against Blac Chyna Trademarking Her Name
Celebrity

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian still oppose Blac trying to trademark Angela Renee Kardashian and have not called their lawyers to pull the lawsuit against Rob's fiancee.

AceShowbiz - Blac Chyna may soon become an official Kardashian family member, but business is business. Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian's companies recently filed papers to formally oppose Blac's application to trademark what will become her married name, Angela Renee Kardashian. While it was believed that it's their trademark attorneys' standard procedure to oppose anyone trying to trademark "Kardashian", the sisters show no sign of backing down.

A supposed family source tells E! News that the Kardashians have not called off the lawyers or pulled the lawsuit against Blac. As for the reason why, the source says, "They still oppose the copyright. Simple."

TMZ earlier reported that Kim, Khloe and Kourtney had reached out to Rob Kardashian's fiancee and assured her that their lawyers were just following standard ops and it was a simple mix-up. However, Blac's attorney Walter Mosley also says that she has "not heard any correspondence from opposing counsel."

"Whether or not anyone has spoken to Angela or whether specifically Kris has spoken to Angela I do not know at this time. Ultimately none of that matters unless and until the opposition is dropped," she tells E! News.

Walter previously said of the opposition, "I would hope that this is just a junior lawyer's error, who's just responding to everything and not really looking at who it's from or why it was filed. ... I'm hoping that it's just a big misunderstanding but I'm just proceeding as if it's not and am going to do the best work I can for my client."
