AceShowbiz - Kanye West's hospitalization does nothing but worsen his marriage to Kim Kardashian. Things have been difficult for the pair since the reality TV star's Paris robbery last month, and her husband's recent breakdown reportedly only added more strain to their relationship.
According to a PEOPLE source, the pair's lives "have been quite chaotic" since Kim was held at guinpoint during the traumatizing incident. "Kim has had a very rough time since the robbery," the source says. "It hasn't helped that Kanye has been touring. It's been very trying for them both and not a good recipe for a happy marriage."
Kim, who's been keeping herself out ot the spotlight, was "usually the more stable and strong person in the marriage" and Kanye was used to "leaning on her." Now that she has her own problems, Kanye "has had to stay strong to support Kim" and he just couldn't handle the drastic change.
Kanye, who recently canceled the remaining dates on his "Saint Pablo" tour, "is totally wiped out from touring and just can't handle it emotionally." The source adds, "It's like Kanye is falling apart now, because Kim hasn't been able to give him her full attention."
Kanye got hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation days after he launched a rant about politics, press, radio, Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles during his Sacramento concert. The father of two reportedly tried to assault a staff member at a gym before he was handcuffed to the stretcher and forcefully taken to UCLA Medical Center.
Meanwhile, Kim had to bail on what would be her first public appearance since the Paris robbery to be with her husband. The 36-year-old star, who was in New York for the Angel Ball, flew back to Los Angeles as her sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian as well as their mom Kris Jenner honored the late Robert Kardashian Sr. at the Monday, November 22 event.
