The Harley Quinn / Birds of Prey spin-off is set to be written by Christina Hodson who also pens a Transformers spin-off.

AceShowbiz - Warner Brothers has found a screenwriter for the untitled Harley Quinn project. TheWrap reports that Christina Hodson, a three-time Black List scribe, is booked to pen the script for Margot Robbie's DC movie that is expected to feature the pigtailed heroine and the Birds of Prey.
Hodson's feature film debut "Shut In" starring Naomi Watts and Jacob Tremblay will arrive sometime soon. Another of her works for the big screen, an erotic thriller called "Unforgettable", will be led by Rosario Dawson and Katherine Heigl.
She also writes a Bumblebee spin-off for Paramount, a female-centric actioner for Fox, a TV adaptation of Japanese crime novel "Out" for AMC, and a reboot of "The Fugitive" for WB. On top of that, one of her three spec scripts, "The Eden Project", has been picked up by Sony.
