The sole owner of Wu-Tang Clan's 'Once Upon a Time in Shaolin' previously promised to release the album he paid $2 million for if Trump won the election.

AceShowbiz - Wu-Tang Clan's one-of-a-kind album "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" has been leaked by Martin Shkreli following Donald Trump's presidential victory. Shkreli previously promised to release album he paid for $2 million for if Trump made it to the White House.

Shkreli, who's the sole owner of "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin", shared on Twitter on Wednesday, November 9 a series of videos of him playing snippets of the album. The videos were later deleted but the three of them have since made their way out online.

"Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" opens with a dramatic introduction driven by strings.

Shkreli played snippets of the first two tracks as he drank a can of Cherry Coke. "So yeah, that's the intro," he said in the video, "I knew you guys liked the Wu-Tang Clan, they have those kinda hype-you-up kina intros about, and they have the old Chinese movies that the RZA loves and picks apart."

"And I think the intro is true to the album, which is about the return to roots in that Wu-Tang sound that was popular. Rap music's changed a lot, the beats have changed a lot," he added.

Shkreli then said that he couldn't play more tracks as he was not allowed to do it. "I gotta decide how to put out - there's about 30, 35 tracks. I actually have a contract with the Wu-Tang Clan, where I'm not allowed to do this," he said, "Obviously I own the music and I bought it and I paid a lot of money for it, but in many ways the contract shouldn't matter that much. But, I am a man of my word, and I have to play a little bit of it. Also man of my word - I gotta keep my word to them, too."

Shkreli promised to share more unreleased music by other artists like The Beatles, Radiohead, The Smiths, Elliott Smith, Jimi Hendrix, Ramones and Tupac Shakur if streaming services unban him.
