The 'Sucker for Pain' hitmaker backtracks his opinion on Black Lives Matter movement following backlash.

AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne apologizes for his comments on Black Lives Matter movement following backlash. The "Sucker for Pain" hitmaker, however, blames ABC's "Nightline" reporter Linsey Davis for questioning him about his daughter.

"When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b***h and a h**, I got agitated," the 34-year-old rapper tells TMZ, "From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses. Apologies to anyone who was offended."

On Twitter, Weezy defends himself, saying, "Is intelligence always misunderstood?"

During recent interview on "Nightline", Weezy was asked if he somehow felt connected to the Black Lives Matter movement. He said, "I don't feel connected to a damn thing that ain't got nothin' to do with me. If you do, you crazy as s**t. Not the camera, you. Feeling connected to something that ain't got nothin' to do with you? If it ain't got nothin' to do with me, I ain't connected to it."

And Twitter users were not happy with it. One user wrote, "Lil Wayne took so many drugs, he forgot about his own tracks where he talks about how unjustly black people are treated in America." One other Twitter user posted, "Lil Wayne really being blinded by his riches. If you didn't get your big break you coulda been 1 of these hashtags #blacklivesmatter Always." Another one added, "Lil Wayne is Cancelled."
