Kate Bosworth to Star in True-Story Movie 'Sharon Tate and the Manson Murders'

Kate Bosworth is set to collaborate with her director husband to tell the tale of the horrific murders by the Manson Family.

AceShowbiz - Kate Bosworth is attached to Sharon Tate biopic. The actress is set to play the late star in the true-story movie based on Greg King's book "Sharon Tate and the Manson Murders". Her husband Michael Polish will sit behind the lens for the project.

The film will depict Tate's career, marriage and other relationships she had in Hollywood. The actress was the second wife of director Roman Polanski. She was murdered by the Manson Family at her house while she was pregnant with her first child in 1969.

Polish says he will "approach this film with a careful consideration, both from a visual sense and by crafting her story truthfully and with the dignity she deserves." Bosworth chimes in, "I know he will bring true beauty and grace to Sharon's story."

It won't be the first time Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish work together. The couple previously collaborated in "90 Minutes in Heaven" and "Amnesiac".
