To celebrate the last day of filming, director Taika Waititi gives fans a tour of the set via Facebook live stream featuring Thompson, who will play Valkyrie in the third 'Thor' movie.

AceShowbiz - As production on "Thor: Ragnarok" has officially been wrapped up, director Taika Waititi gives fans a tour of the set via Facebook live stream to celebrate the last day of filming. The behind-the-scenes footage, which was taken on Thursday, October 27, offers the first look at Tessa Thompson who will play Valkyrie in the third "Thor" movie.

Though Thompson is not in full costume, she can be seen sporting intricate white make-up on her face, with her hair tied back. Chris Hemsworth, the God of Thunder depicter who also joins the helmer during the broadcast, jokes that her face paint is leftover from Coachella.

In the almost-14-minute video, Waititi also gives fans a look at a lake on the Australian set. He pans over showing quite a lot of wreckage in the intergalactic junkyard set as well as several actors who wear elaborate costumes, before introducing an actor who's playing a character called Miek.

Comic book fans probably already knew that Miek was a character who appeared in the Planet Hulk/World War Hulk storyline. He was a member of planet Sakaar's native race of insectoids, before he teamed with the Hulk to overthrow a despotic regime that forced slaves to fight gladiatorial battles in order to survive.

No official synopsis is available as of now, but Waititi recently promised the follow-up to "Thor: The Dark World" would be the most "out there" Marvel film ever. "I think ['Thor: Ragnarok'] will be one of the most adventurous and most 'out there' of all the Marvel movies," the helmer said. "It's a crazy movie."

Also starring Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Mark Ruffalo, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Cate Blanchett, the movie opens in U.S. theaters on November 3, 2017.
