The '212' hitmaker decides to cancel deal to sign with RZA's record label as the Wu-Tang Clan's rapper didn't defend her when she was kicked out of Russell's hotel room.

AceShowbiz - Azealia Banks has called off a deal to sign with RZA's record label amidst her ongoing feud with Russell Crowe. The "212" hitmaker is reportedly pissed at the Wu-Tang Clan rapper because he didn't defend her when she was kicked out of Russell's hotel room.

Azealia had been negotiating the deal with RZA's label for the past three weeks, sources tell TMZ, but when the rep called her this week about closing the deal, she called it off. The "Ice Princess" rapper's rep says that a press release containing her statement will be sent out soon.

Azealia also comments on an article about the altercation from Russell's side and demands a public apology from the actor. "I would like him to apologize to me publicly now because [he] went to TMZ, [like an] idiot," she tells E! News, "I didn't want to press charges because dealing with the police, dealing with the courts is such an inconvenient thing. I don't want this happening. They say I'm doing this for attention. Who wants this kind of attention?"

The 25-year-old rapper explained, "I'm pretty sure this happens to women in Hollywood so often, where you get chastised into a corner. Even his attorney called me and said something like, 'If you say something about this, then you'll never work in this town again.' I'm pressing [charges] now. He doesn't get it. He thinks I'm just some little black girl from Harlem that doesn't have any backing. They think they can just frame me."

On early Wednesday, Azealia took to Instagram to share a lengthy message regarding her issue, promising a new song to be released on Thursday. "These past few days have been rough. I want to thank the kuntbrigade so much for always being there for me," she wrote, "Although this situation was beyond my control, I promise you all that This is the LAST time I will be in the news for anything negative. For all of the love and support my fans have given me over the years I owe it to you to keep it straight music. No politics, no race stuff, no feminist stuff, no nothing. I am on a mission to completely immerse myself in my selfies, songs, music videos, fashion, beauty and love."

She added, "As many of my fans and long-time followers know, I'm genuinely a really fun, clever, interesting and interested human being. Somewhere along the way the I got sucked into this neverending war with the media that I quite honestly don't have the energy, patience, or care to keep fighting. I GIVE UP! And I Give In [love]. I love you all tremendously. If you would all please join me in spreading the hashtag #makeazealiagreatagain. On all of your AB related posts and comments.... I'm gonna pop that 'So Ghetto' freestyle off tomorrow. Goodnight everyone."
