AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" contestants relived their most memorable years with their dances this week. The Top 9 performed routines inspired by important moments in their lives on Monday, October 10. There's no elimination this week as "DWTS" is trimmed back down to airing once a week.

Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev danced a foxtrot to celebrate the year she got married to her husband, whom she credited for saving her from rock bottom. The fairytale wedding-themed dance was beautiful. While it wasn't perfect, the judges noticed her improvement. "You know what they say about slow and steady, they win the race," said Carrie Ann Inaba. Maureen earned 24 out of 30 points.

Calvin Johnson picked 2012 as his most memorable year because that's when he broke Jerry Rice's record. He and Lindsay Arnold danced a fun jazz. Julianne Hough gushed, "You really are magic," but added that "there is more from you that we haven't seen yet" and wanted him to push himself a little bit more. The judges gave the NFL star 24 points.

This year is an important year for Jana Kramer because he daughter was born and it makes her feel complete. She and Gleb Savchenko danced an emotional contemporary number. Julianne loved her perseverance and admitted that she almost cried. Bruno Tonioli praised her for being "totally focused, totally committed, totally fearless." The judges gave her 26 points.

The recently engaged Ryan Lochte chose 2008 as his most memorable year, because that's when he won his first individual Gold medal at the Olympics in Beijing. He and Cheryl Burke also danced a contemporary number. The judges loved that he showed vulnerability. "This was your most honest performance to date, you really showed your strength, your emotions, your tenderness, you were in tune with your partner," Bruno raved. The swimmer got 24 points.

Feeling the pressure of being perfect last week, Laurie Hernandez had a tough time during rehearsals. She and Valentin Chmerkovskiy danced a paso doble to celebrate the time she won gold at the Olympics earlier this year. It was intense and powerful, but Bruno complained about her footwork. Carrie Ann didn't like the beginning where she's trapped in a box and had to fight her way out, but Julianne disagreed and called it fantastic. The judges gave the gymnast 25 points.

Marilu Henner and Derek Hough danced a Viennese waltz to pay tribute to her mother who died in 1978, the same year Marilu landed a role in "Taxi". Derek's choreography was powerful as always and the judges rushed to the stage to hug Marilu after the performance. She earned 27 points.

Amber Rose cried during rehearsals. She and Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced a samba to celebrate the year she welcomed her son. She's one of the weakest dancers on the competition, but the judges were nice to her. Bruno told her to trust her partner Maks, and Carrie Ann noticed that Amber was a little nervous. The model earned 24 points.

James Hinchcliffe got into an accident during a race last year and almost died, but 18 months later he's dancing on "DWTS". He and Sharna Burgess danced a tango to remember it. "You went in to hyperdrive, super slick, super sharp, amazing control," Bruno praised him. Carrie Ann declared him as "the one to beat." The IndyCar driver earned 29 points.

Terra Jole and Sasha Farber wrapped up the show with a contemporary routine to pay tribute to her father, who died in 2013. It was another emotional performance as Bruno commented, "A memorable dance to end a fantastic night, there is not a dry eye in the place." She earned 27 points.

The results of tonight's dances will be announced next week. Pitbull will serve as a guest judge.
