While the 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker postpones the remaining three dates of his 'Summer Sixteen Tour' in the U.S., he will embark on 'The Boy Meets World Tour' in Europe next year.

AceShowbiz - Drake is heading to Europe for "The Boy Meets World Tour" in 2017. The European tour is scheduled to begin on January 21, 2017, at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and will conclude at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne on March 16, 2017.

Tickets for "The Boy Meets World Tour" go on sale on Friday, October 14. The tour follows Drake's North American "The Summer Sixteen Tour" which is also launched in support of his fourth studio album "Views".

Drake decides to postpone the remaining three dates of his "Summer Sixteen" tour, including two concerts at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on October 11 and 12, as well as an October 15 show in Newark, due to his ankle injury. Last week, the "One Dance" crooner postponed three shows in Toronto, Philadelphia and Newark, New Jersey.

According to his rep, Drake's persistence of performing on a sprained ankle only worsened his condition. "Drake suffered a severe ankle injury during the tour which he did his best to power through. By doing this, he made his injury worse," the rep says, "Under doctors orders and to ensure Drake only ever gives fans the performances they deserve, he will be postponing the remaining 3 dates of his 'Summer Sixteen' tour to allow him time to recuperate his ankle injury. Drake's fans mean the world to him. Seeing their faces and performing his music for them is what he loves to do the most and he can't wait to get back on stage."

Drake has performed more than 50 shows on his "Summer Sixteen Tour". Plans to reschedule the postponed concerts have not yet been revealed.
