Marvel casts Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Amber Rose Revah and a 'Daredevil' actress, as well as reveals the role played by Ben Barnes.

AceShowbiz - As production is underway, "The Punisher" announces new additions to its ensemble. Ebon Moss-Bachrach ("Girls"), Amber Rose Revah ("Son of God") and Deborah Ann Woll ("Daredevil") are confirmed to join Jon Bernthal as cast members.

In the new Netflix series, Moss-Bachrach is expected to play Micro, a frequent comic book sidekick to Bernthal's Frank Castle. The character is described as "a former NSA analyst whose secrets may be of great value to Frank Castle and everyone around them."

Revah will play an original character named Dinah Madani. She is "a highly-trained sophisticated Homeland Security agent who is vexed by the Punisher." Woll who was recently spotted on set with Bernthal is expected to reprise her role as Karen who formed bond with Castle in "Daredevil".

Marvel also reveals Ben Barnes' role. Instead of playing Bobby Saint like it was previously rumored, the actor will portray Billy Russo. In the comic books, he's a friend of Castle's back when they were in the Special Forces, but he will eventually become the villainous Jigsaw.

"We couldn't be more thrilled about the remarkable talent joining Jon Bernthal in 'Marvel's The Punisher.' Ebon, Ben and Amber are incredibly talented actors and we can't wait to see them bring these characters to life," producer Jeph Loeb said.
