Kanye West Had 'Meltdown' and Fired 30 Staffers Following Disastrous Yeezy Fashion Show

The rapper reportedly 'had a nervous breakdown' and 'had his agent fire all 30 of his staff' after the show, which took place in New York last month, received numerous negative reviews.

AceShowbiz - Just like a lot of his fans, Kanye West apparently wasn't pleased with his Yeezy season 4 fashion show last summer. Page Six reports that the rapper had a "massive meltdown" and fired all his staff after so many disasters happened during the show, which took place last month as part of New York Fashion Week.

"He had his agent fire all 30 of his staff after the fashion show and got rid of his phone so people can only contact him via email," an insider told the publication. "He had a nervous breakdown after the show, and that's what triggered it all."

In case you forget, the fashion show turned into a nightmare after a very late start. Because of the nearly-two-hour delay, some models passed out due to the heat while some others looked exhausted.

When the show finally began, two other models including Amina Blue were forced to walk the runway in broken heels. Probably thinking the entire thing was too painful to watch, some fashion editors in attendance chose to leave the presentation early.

Another source confirmed to Page Six that Kanye wasn't happy with the negative reviews he received for the show. However, the source denied that the "Famous" hitmaker had a breakdown because of it.

"He didn't have a 'nervous breakdown.' Some people got let go, and there was a reorganization of others who he moved back to the music side of things," the source claimed. "He's a grownup. He was reflective and disappointed in how things went."

"He took stock in what people were saying and he was disappointed. But he's more determined than ever to get that stuff right. And as far as throwing away his cellphone? If he did, then it's not the first time. He always does that," the source added.

Gossip Cop has also denied the breakdown report. After the Page Six article was published, the site called Kanye's rep who assured everyone that the alleged "meltdown" as well as the firing "didn't happen."
