AceShowbiz - The working title of Ben Affleck's stand-alone Batman movie has been revealed. While promoting his new film "The Accountant", the 44-year-old actor/filmmaker confirms that his upcoming DC movie will simply be titled "The Batman".
"I think it's gonna be called 'The Batman'," Affleck tells the Associated Press. "At least that's what we're going with now. I might change it," he adds. "Were working on the script. The script is going well. I'm really excited about it. And I assure you when there's anything that develops, you'll hear about it."
"The Batman" movie is directed and co-written by Affleck. Plot details are still kept under wraps, but it's been confirmed that "Magic Mike" actor Joe Manganiello will portray the villainous Deathstroke in the superhero flick which is expected to be released in 2018.
Before appearing in his solo film, the Caped Crusader will join forces with Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher's Cyborg in "Justice League" which is set for a November 17, 2017 release in U.S. theaters.
