The wife of David Beckham says in new interview that the reunited Spice Girls shouldn't use their old songs as it would make her feel 'sad.'

AceShowbiz - Victoria Beckham a.k.a. Victoria Adams discusses upcoming Spice Girls reunion in new interview. The 42-year-old fashion designer, who decided not to take part in the upcoming reunion, says the reunited Spice Girls shouldn't use their old hits as it would make her feel "sad."

"Of course, as a new group, I do [wish them well]," Victoria tells the Sunday Times of bandmates Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton, "I do think they should sing their own material though, because what we did in the Spice Girls was so special. If they sang Spice Girls songs I think I might be a bit sad."

The mother of four goes on, "I think I learnt a lot from the Spice Girls, most importantly how you can have everything one minute and then lose it the next. I've been given a second chance, so I'm not going to lose it again."

In the interview, Victoria also opens up that she hates appearing on the red carpet. "I just can't wait to get down the carpet and be done with it," she shares, "I don't know if it's the years of being photographed and the criticism, but I just feel exposed and vulnerable and uncomfortable, and I can't be myself."

Neither Mel B, Geri nor Emma has responded to Victoria's comment yet. According to previous rumor, the remaining members are holding auditions to replace Victoria and Melanie C for upcoming reunion. "The Spice Girls talent hunt will involve auditions and heats over five consecutive nights next April, culminating in a live final on BBC1," Mail Online reported, "The winner will join the band for a gig in Hyde Park next July to mark the 21st anniversary of their first No 1 single, 'Wannabe'."
