Movie

Hopkins can be seen filming what appears to be a castle scene opposite the epileptic but 'very loving' canine in a heartwarming video taken from the filming set of the fifth 'Transformers' movie.

AceShowbiz - A heartwarming video taken from the filming set of "Transformers: The Last Knight" has surfaced online. It shows Anthony Hopkins filming what appears to be a castle scene for the follow-up to "Transformers: Age of Extinction" opposite Freya, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dubbed "The World's Loneliest Dog."

For those who are not familiar with the female canine whose heartbreaking story made international headlines, she has spent all six years of her life living in shelters. She has been passed over for adoption in the Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre more than 18.000 times due to the fact that she suffers from epilepsy despite being a "very loving dog."

Back in June, Bay took to Twitter to announce that he planned to give the homeless epileptic canine a role in his film and find her a home. She is now adopted by a couple in the U.K. The helmer decided to give Freya a role alongside Hopkins, whose character's details are still kept under wraps.

Set to be released in U.S. theaters on June 23, 2017, "Transformers: The Last Knight" also stars Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and Stanley Tucci who are set to reprise their role as Cade Yaeger, William Lennox, Robert Epps and Joshua Joyce respectively. Other cast members include Laura Haddock, Isabela Moner, Jerrod Carmichael and Santiago Cabrera.

The fifth "Transformers" film centers on Optimus Prime who finds his home planet, Cybertron, now a dead planet. Thinking that he's responsible for its demise, he finds a way to bring the planet back to life. However, in order to do so he needs to find an artifact on Earth.
