During a visit to 'The Dan Patrick Show' to promote his new film, the actor leaves his 13-year-old daughter Ella shocked and mortified when he raps about punishing her if she misbehaves.

AceShowbiz - Having your actor dad rap in public and in front of you is not always a good idea. Mark Wahlberg's daughter Ella learned this the hard way when they visited "The Dan Patrick Show" on Wednesday, September 21 to promote his new movie "Deepwater Horizon".

The 13-year-old girl was the one asking Wahlberg to rap, but she quickly regretted her request when her father began to spit some hilarious bars about her. "I'm your 45-year-old father and I got to rap/ And if you keep misbehaving I'm a give your behind a slap," he rapped.

Meanwhile, a shocked and embarrassed Ella asked him to stop by making the "cut" motion with her hand. Wahlberg refused to stop as he continued rapping, "It's called a spanking/ Later on in life you're gonna thank me/ 'Cause all the advice that I'm giving you is good for you/ And if not, your butt and behind is gonna be black and blue."

He then made the same "cut" motion with his own hand and told her daughter, "Don't cut it down. We're giving you positive-encouragement raps. It's good information to help you behave, and then you're going to earn that phone back, girl."

In the interview, Wahlberg revealed that he sometimes punished Ella, his eldest daughter, by taking away her phone. He also explained why he didn't give his other kids, 10-year-old Michael, 8-year-old Brendan and 6-year-old Grace, the same treatment.

"But my brothers or anything didn't lose their [iPad] when they were bad," Ella complained, to which her dad replied, "If I took their iPads they wouldn't care. They'd just go throw a ball or bounce their head off the wall and they'd still be happy. You live for the phone, so I got to get you where it counts, kid."
