AceShowbiz - Five character posters for Saban's "Power Rangers" have been released. The new images offer the first glimpse of the highly powerful Dinozords, the colossal assault vehicles which can be called upon and piloted by each of the warriors. The robotic vehicles can combine to form a humanoid robot known as a Megazord.

While there is only a small part of the Dinozords shown in the posters, each of the shiny colossal robots is seen being accompanied by Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin, Dacre Montgomery, Becky G and RJ Cyler who suit up as the Pink, Black, Red, Yellow and Blue Rangers respectively. The five Mighty Morphin's warriors don't use their helmets, though.

"Power Rangers" follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove and the world are on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, the heroes discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet, but to do so they have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

Dean Israelite directs the superhero film from a screenplay written by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz. Slated to hit U.S. theaters on March 24, 2017, it also stars Elizabeth Banks as the villainous alien witch Rita Repulsa and Bryan Cranston as the wise Zordon.

Along with the reveals of the new character posters, Lionsgate announces that "Power Rangers" will have a panel at New York Comic Con on Saturday, October 8, promising to show panelgoers a first look at the film. During its panel, the studio will also show off the first footage of Keanu Reeves' "John Wick: Chapter Two".
