AceShowbiz - Drake shared some updates about his new mixtape during "Summer Sixteen Tour" in Tacoma on Saturday, September 17. The "Hotline Bling" hitmaker told the crowd that he's recording six or seven new songs.

Drake said, "I've been on this tour. I'm recording new music. I'm about six, maybe seven new songs in, maybe, you know what I'm saying. Just getting warmed up. I don't know what I'm going to do with it, I don't know what it's going to be, but what I do know is I can't wait to come back to the mother f***ing Tacoma Dome and perform all that s**t for y'all."

Drake announced a new mixtape on the way during his show in Kansas City back in July. At the time, the "One Dance" hitmaker told the audience, "What I saw tonight was a beautiful building of beautiful people from all races and all places. I want you to protect yourselves and each other so that when I go and work on this new mixtape and come back to Kansas City and I drop that s**t, I wanna see everybody in this motherf**ker boy!"

Besides his own mixtape, Drake has a new single with Future and a collaborative album with Kanye West. Kanye previously told Vogue, "[Drake and I]'re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio. We're working on an album, so there's some exciting things coming up soon."
