Taika Waititi responds to recent rumor that Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder will travel to Sanctum Sanctorum, and teases the cameo appearance of Thor's roommate Daryll Jacobson.

AceShowbiz - "Thor: Ragnarok" helmer Taika Waititi has addressed recent rumor that Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder will travel to Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum. Speaking to Digital Spy, the New Zealand-born director explained the significance of the business card with the address "177A Bleecker St."

"Ohhh I don't know," he said. "I am not sure if... I don't know actually. I can't comment on it. It may have just been something for the fans." Of the possibility of Benedict Cumberbatch's cameo appearance, the 41-year-old helmer teased, "Might be something like that. Might be a little tease. Or maybe a tease just for people who wanted to zoom into that photo."

In other similar news, the helmer told IGN about Thor's roommate Daryll Jacobson possibly making a cameo appearance in the third "Thor" film. The Australian mortal friend of the Son of Odin is seen in recent mockumentary explaining Thor's absence in "Captain America: Civil War". The mockumentary was released after being screened at San Diego Comic-Con last summer.

"Thor briefly rented a room in a flat in Australia after the Ultron debacle," explained Waititi. "Just to get some downtime - to get away from The Avengers, to get away from America. So he had a little downtime in Australia. And he met this guy Darryl and they shared a flat together. So that's Darryl."

When asked about what would not happen in the movie, the helmer responded, "Oh man, if I say anything, it might hint at something else." He added, "I have to really watch my words nowadays. This is a topic I should really avoid. OK, one thing you can get from me, not being in 'Thor', is any of our vampire characters and werewolf characters from the other Taika and Jemaine [Clement] universe. You won't see any of that."

Based on characters created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby, "Thor: Ragnarok" is set to hit U.S. theaters on November 3, 2017. The follow-up to "Thor: The Dark World" also stars Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Tessa Thompson, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum and Karl Urban.
