See how Ellie Kemper and Amy Poehler reacted when the announcer suddenly said that Cosby, who's been accused of raping multiple women, would be the next presenter.

AceShowbiz - Clearly, no one wanted Bill Cosby to be part of the 2016 Emmy Awards. A number of famous faces attending the Sunday night, September 18 event were visibly shocked when the troubled comedian was introduced as the next presenter.
After a commercial break, the announcer suddenly told the crowd, "Ladies and gentlemen, four-time Emmy Award winner, Dr. Bill Cosby." The camera then showed some audience members looking stunned and confused. Ellie Kemper tried to just smile while Tina Fey was seen inaudibly talking to Amy Poehler.
Instead of Cosby, Jimmy Kimmel walked onto the stage and later explained that the whole thing was a joke he masterminded. "Don't worry. He's not really here, I just wanted to see what you guys would do," the late-night talk show host told the crowd as they laughed.

In the past few years, Cosby has been making headlines for allegedly raping multiple women in the past. More than 50 women have accused the 79-year-old actor of drugging and sexually abusing them.
Kimmel's joke received mixed reviews on social media. Some Twitter users found the celebrities' reactions entertaining while some others slammed the host, saying that Cosby's an actual rapist and shouldn't be mentioned.
I about broke my neck running into the room when the @TheEmmys announced Bill Cosby. Thanks @jimmykimmel, you jerk.
