The 'Girls' creator recalls uncomfortable interaction with Odell Beckham Jr. while the 'Inside Amy Schumer' star says coming to the Anna Wintour soiree felt 'like a punishment.'

AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer and Lena Dunham didn't enjoy their time at Met Gala. In a conversation published on Lenny Letter, the two actresses bonded over their terrible experience at the annual high-fashion show conducted by Vogue's Anna Wintour.

"You and I were literally sitting across from each other at the Met Ball, and it was like a crazy countdown to when we could escape. You were like, 'We're honored to be here. We're honored to be here,' " Dunham told Schumer. "I attempted to grind my ass on Michael B. Jordan for an additional twenty minutes and then left right after you."

She recalled her awkward interaction with another famous person, "I was sitting next to Odell Beckham Jr., and it was so amazing because it was like he looked at me and he determined I was not the shape of a woman by his standards. He was like, 'That's a marshmallow. That's a child. That's a dog.' It wasn't mean - he just seemed confused."

"The vibe was very much like, 'Do I want to f**k it? Is it wearing a...yep, it's wearing a tuxedo. I'm going to go back to my cell phone,' " she said. "It was like we were forced to be together, and he literally was scrolling Instagram rather than have to look at a woman in a bow tie. I was like, 'This should be called the Metropolitan Museum of Getting Rejected by Athletes.' "

Schumer previously told Howard Stern that coming to the event felt "like a punishment." She deadpanned, "It's people doing an impression of having a conversation. I have no interest in fashion ... I don't care ... We're dressed up like a bunch of f**king a**holes."

She also left early and not even Beyonce Knowles could make her stay longer. "I left, not the second I could; I left earlier than I should have been allowed," she said. "I got to meet Beyonce, and she was like, 'Is this your first Met Gala?' and I was like, 'It's my last.' "

Lena Dunham and Amy Schumer were not the only Hollywood stars unimpressed by the soiree. Tina Fey called it "a jerk parade" while Gwyneth Paltrow described it as "so un-fun." She said, "It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all."
