Does 'American Horror Story' Reveal the Murder Weapon in This New Season 6 Teaser?

Two new promos have been released for the upcoming season, one of which features a pitchfork and another channels 'Children of the Corn'.

AceShowbiz - FX keeps us guessing more about the theme of "American Horror Story" season 6 by releasing two new promos. One of them titled "The Lesson" features children sitting in a cornfield and pounding their desks until they look up and their eyes turn all black.

The video seems to be a nod to "Children of the Corn", Stephen King's short story about a town ruled by a cult of murderous youths. It has spawned a horror film franchise that started with 1984's "Children of the Corn" directed by Fritz Kiersch.

The newest teaser titled "Pitch A Fit" features someone dragging a pitchfork on the floor, leaving another person who is lying on the floor and seemingly asking for help. Could it be the murder weapon in the sixth season?

"AHS" season 6 will premiere September 14 at 10 P.M. ET on FX, but the details are still kept under wraps. Lady GaGa, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson and Cheyenne Jackson are the only stars confirmed to return.

On why he's been keeping the theme a secret, co-creator Ryan Murphy recently told The Hollywood Reporter, "We wanted to [create a] different experience for the fans this year. But that doesn't mean we'll do that for season seven or even season eight."

So, he has had ideas for season 7 and 8? "We lay a lot of pipe, and you'll see it explode in seasons seven and eight. They haven't officially been picked up yet by John Landgraf - he and I always talk at the end of the year and decide how many we want to do," he said.

Murphy added, "But John has always said, and I have always agreed, that this is a show that could be like 'The Twilight Zone' and run for multiple, multiple seasons and have its own inner mythology. So that's how we're approaching it. I'll keep doing it for as long as we have the ideas and the momentum. I really love doing it."
