Charlie Cox Reveals How 'The Defenders' Will Affect 'Daredevil' Season 3

Cox says the lessons his character Matt Murdock learns on the upcoming new Marvel-Netflix series will carry over to 'Daredevil'.

AceShowbiz - "Daredevil" season 3 isn't coming until at least 2018, but Charlie Cox will reprise his role as the Man Without Fear on "Marvel's The Defenders". Speaking at a Wizard World Chicago panel, the actor revealed his character Matt Murdock would learn lessons about teamwork on the upcoming new series.

"He can't do all this alone. And that's to say maybe some teamwork," Cox dished on the lessons learned on "The Defenders". "He's actually going to relinquish [some responsibility]." That will affect the character in the third season of "Daredevil" as Cox added, "So whatever lessons he learns in 'The Defenders' will then play into I think season three."

Fans must be relieved to hear that since the last time we saw Matt, he was driving everyone around him away and trying to take on the burden of being Hell's Kitchen's vigilante at the expense of his personal relationships.

Besides Cox's Daredevil, "The Defenders" will feature Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones, Mike Colter's Luke Cage and Finn Jones' Iron Fist. The new series will premiere in 2017, but no exact date is announced yet.
