AceShowbiz - Charlie Puth got attacked online after he allegedly told one of his fans to "die." On Wednesday, August 17, Twitter users trended #CharliePuthIsOverParty as they blasted the singer after a screen grab of his message surfaced and went viral.
The image showed Puth direct messaging the unidentified fan and simply writing to her, "Die," before blocking her account. The picture's authenticity is still unclear, and so is the reason behind the "See You Again" hitmaker's alleged action. He last tweeted on Tuesday, August 16 to thank his fans for helping him reach 3 million followers.
OMG, so this is what happened, he said "die" for his fan and then blocked her #CharliePuthIsOverParty pic.twitter.com/iUIRvMt7Df

However, nothing stopped Puth's other fans from expressing their anger over his controversial message. Some of them also took issue with the fact that he unfollowed his "We Don't Talk Anymore" collaborator Selena Gomez on Instagram around the same time.
"If you ever feel stupid just remember that Charlie Puth told a girl to die and blocked her #CharliePuthIsOverParty," @eSHEIKH_ wrote. "Charlie Puth shaded Justin, unfollowed Selena and told a fan to die all that in one day. He basically ended himself. #CharliePuthIsOverParty," @RelatedBieber said.
Why would you tell a fan to die Charlie Puth? That's just not ok. #charlieputhisoverparty pic.twitter.com/zvDcBZiT5c
