AceShowbiz - Ellen DeGeneres spoke out following her controversial Usain Bolt meme. The talk show host took a lot of heat online after posting a photoshopped picture of her riding on the athlete's back. She was accused of being racist and insensitive.

"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" presenter quickly took it to Twitter to explain that it was never her intention to offend anyone. "I am highly aware of the racism that exists in our country. It is the furthest thing from who I am," she wrote.

Usain Bolt won gold medal during the Men's 100m Finals in Rio. It was his third gold medals at the Olympic Games in total. Last year, the world-record breaker appeared on Ellen's show and raced against a Jamaican kid trainer outside the studio.
