The judge also pushes back a court hearing in their domestic violence case to August 17, two days later than planned.

AceShowbiz - A judge has extended Amber Heard's temporary restraining order against Johnny Depp. A status hearing regarding the domestic violence case between the estranged couple was held on Tuesday, August 9 and one of the main topic discussed was the issue of getting their depositions done.

Amber, who is currently in London for "Justice League" filming, was represented by her lawyer Samantha Spector and co-counsel Joseph P. Koenig, while Johnny, who is currently in Ibiza, was represented by his lawyer Laura Wasser.

The judge ordered depositions for Amber and Johnny to be held later this week as the "Mortdecai" actor wouldn't do his deposition until his estranged wife does hers first. Laura asked for extra time between the depositions and the start date for the hearing, according to E! News.

"This is really weighing heavily on my client," Laura told the judge, adding that she "would like to do it in the most expeditious manner to get it done and behind us."

The judge then pushed back the court hearing initially scheduled for Monday, August 15 to August 17. Amber's temporary restraining order was extended until that date. The judge said that neither Amber nor Johnny may be present during the other party's deposition.

On Saturday, August 6, Amber returned to Los Angeles from London for her scheduled deposition. However, the deposition was never taken although the actress was willing to give it, according to a source.

"Although Amber was ready, willing and able to go forward with her deposition, it was not taken by Johnny's attorneys," the source told PEOPLE, "She waited for 10 hours and at no time did Amber ever refuse to start the deposition. There was nothing preventing Johnny's counsel from commencing the deposition during that time."
