The 41-year-old actor pretended to be an overzealous fan by storming up to his 'Wolf of Wall Street' co-star with his cellphone raised like he was snapping photos.

AceShowbiz - Leonardo DiCaprio pulled a great prank on his pal and "The Wolf of Wall Street" co-star Jonah Hill on Monday, August 1. When Leo spotted Jonah standing outside a restaurant in New York City's West Village, he ran up to Jonah like he was a crazy fan.

In a video obtained by Mail Online, Leo was seen raising his cellphone like he was snapping photos of Jonah. Jonah looked genuinely terrified as he backed up against a wall before realizing it was Leo. The star of "The Revenant" then hugged the "War Dogs" actor before they laughed off the prank.

Leo and Jonah were later joined by a group of friends. The group stood in a circle and chatted before Leo jokingly punched Jonah in the arm and made everyone laugh.

Leo wore black sunglasses, a grey hat paired with a blue tee and shorts. Jonah, meanwhile, sported a black cap, a white tee, a black jacket and jeans.

Back in January, Jonah pulled a prank on Leo by dressing up as a bear while he was onstage at the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards. At the time, the "Titanic" actor called the prank "amazing."
