'Justice League' Adds Julian Lewis Jones to Play Mystery Role

The 48-year-old actor rose to international prominence after playing Etienne Feyder, the head of Nelson Mandela's bodyguard team, in Clint Eastwood's 'Invictus'.

AceShowbiz - Julian Lewis Jones has joined the cast of "Justice League". In an interview with Wales Online, the "Stella" actor reveals he has landed a role in the upcoming DC film, but won't say anything about his character. "I'm not allowed to say yet what part I play but let's just say I've a role in what will likely be the most expensive film ever made," he says.

The 48-year-old actor continues, "It was filmed at Warner Brother's studio at Leavesden as well as at various locations around the U.K. and Iceland. Directed by Zack Snyder it stars Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons and host of A-list actors. I'm just happy to have been involved and I'm looking forward to the movie's release which will be next year."

No additional information is available about Jones' role in "Justice League". The Anglesey-born actor, who rose to international prominence after playing Etienne Feyder in Clint Eastwood's "Invictus", joins Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa and Amy Adams in the flick.

The synopsis of the film reads, "Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat."

"But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash - it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions."

Based on a screenplay written by Chris Terrio, "Justice League" is due November 17, 2017 in theaters across the nation.
