Beyonce also has her 'Formation' visuals named Video of the Year after defeating Drake, Tiller, Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna.

AceShowbiz - More winners have been unveiled as the 2016 BET Awards 2006 continues. After Alicia Keys's set, during which she did everything from singing to playing guitar to playing the drum machine, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri and Birdman took the stage to present the Best New Artist Award to Bryson Tiller.

Tiller edged out competitors like Alessia Cara, Andra Day, Kehlani and Tory Lanez. It was the second win for the 23-year-old artist as he already nabbed the Best Male R&B/Pop Artist Award earlier this night.

Tiller, however, lost the Video of the Year Award to Beyonce Knowles. Queen Bey bagged the honor for her "Formation", which was nominated for the title along with Tiller's "Don't", Drake's "Hotline Bling", Kendrick Lamar's "Alright" and Rihanna's "Work".

Drake was the next act collecting his second BET Award during the telecast. The Canadian rapper won the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist trophy, besting the likes of Kanye West, Lamar, J. Cole, Fetty Wap and Future.

The 2016 BET Awards is currently airing live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson as co-hosts. In addition to music, BET is handing out awards to those working in movie and sports industries. Tennis player Serena Williams won the Sportswoman of the Year while NBA star Stephen Curry (II) took home the Sportsman of the Year.
