After assisting her beau during 'Go Ahead and Break My Heart', the No Doubt singer played solo performance of 'Hella Good' at the concert which took place on the country star's 40th birthday.

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani didn't let her boyfriend Blake Shelton spend his birthday alone. The No Doubt frontwoman made a surprise appearance at her beau's Country Jam concert in Grand Junction, Colorado on Saturday, June 18, the day he turned 40, and assisted him during the performance of their romantic duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart".

The crowd went wild when Stefani emerged on the stage midway through the two-hour show to sing her part on the track off Shelton's latest album "If I'm Honest". Later that night, she came back during the encore to play a solo performance of No Doubt's "Hella Good", wish her man a happy birthday and give him a quick kiss.

"This is fun! Y'all have been so freakin' nice to me on my 40th birthday and I guess if I had one birthday wish for me personally," he said before his girlfriend began singing the "Rock Steady" single. "I wish I could rock. I wish I was one of those type of artists that could rock but I can't. For my birthday I wish I could hear an artist who could rock, that's my birthday wish."

Following the show, Shelton took to Twitter to rave about it and thank fans in attendance as well as Stefani. "I possibly witnessed the coolest and craziest thing of my life tonight.... Thank you Colorado and @gwenstefani!!! Look up the videos!!" Stefani then replied on Twitter, "@blakeshelton ummmmm?? Did that really just happen? #happybday #hellagood #breakmyheart."
