AceShowbiz - "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" character posters have been unveiled. The eight posters feature Miss Peregrine (Eva Green), Jacob/Jake (Asa Butterfield), Emma (Ella Purnell), Millard (Cameron King), Olive (Lauren McCrostie), the Peculiar Twins (Thomas Odwell and Joseph Odwell), Bronwyn (Pixie Davies) and Barron (Samuel L. Jackson).

The posters highlight the supernatural tone as well as the weapons or abilities of each character. Miss Peregrine and Jake appear in separate posters holding their weapons.

Meanwhile, the peculiar children are shown in other posters with their respective abilities. Emma is floating in the air as shown in one poster. The invisible boy in the next poster is Millard. The one that can make fire with her hand is Olive. The peculiar twins are holding a teddy bear. The little girl with superhuman strength is Bronwyn.

As for Barron, he is standing while looking at the camera with a fearsome gaze.

Directed by Tim Burton, "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" follows 16-year-old Jake as he takes the advice of his therapist to set on a journey. He finds the secret orphanage where his grandfather claims to have stayed as a child. As he explores its abandoned bedroom and hallways, it becomes clear that the children are more than peculiar. He is later given the task by Miss Peregrine to protect the children from horrible creatures known as Wights and Hollowgasts.

Based on a novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs, the film is produced by Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping through the Chernin Entertainment banner. The screenplay is written by Jane Goldman ("X-Men: First Class").

"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" is set for a September 30 U.S. release.
