Josh Segarra has been tapped in the role of Adrian Chase a.k.a. the Vigilante for the upcoming season of the CW series.

AceShowbiz - "Arrow" is recruiting another good guy after most of Team Arrow members parted ways in the fourth season finale. Josh Segarra, who appeared in a recurring role on "Chicago P.D.", has been cast in a series regular role as a character named Vigilante for the fifth season of the CW series.

According to Deadline, Segarra will play shiny new district attorney Adrian Chase, an ally of newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), who aims to clean up the streets through the legal system. The character and his alter ego Vigilante first appeared in the DC comics in 1983 as a D.A. who seeks justice in his own way after his family is slain by the mob.

Segarra will join Rick Gonzalez who was previously cast as DC Comics vigilante Wild Dog for the show's season 5. On the TV series, Wild Dog is a new vigilante in Star City whose reckless and cocksure nature prompts Green Arrow to take him under his wing.

Echo Kellum, who joined the cast in season 4 as Felicity's favorite employee at Palmer Tech, Curtis, is upped to series regular for season 5.

"Arrow" season 5 will air Wednesdays at 8 P.M. on The CW.
