AceShowbiz - "Spider-Man: Homecoming" has ensnared another star to its growing cast ensemble. Former "Community" star Donald Glover is in negotiations for a mystery role in the upcoming Spidey remake to be directed by Jon Watts.
He is expected to join Tom Holland as the new Peter Parker, Michael Keaton as a villain, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Zendaya Coleman as Parker's rumored sidekick. Robert Downey Jr. is also set to drop by as Iron Man.
The new Spider-Man is coming to U.S. theaters on July 7, 2017. The webslinger was previously reintroduced in "Captain America: Civil War". He will be back to his high-school roots in the upcoming solo flick.
Donald Glover was last seen in "The Martian" in 2015. He also starred in "The Lazarus Effect" and "Magic Mike XXL" last year.
