AceShowbiz - Elle King looked stunning while hitting the red carpet of the 2016 CMT Music Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, June 8. During a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 26-year-old songstress talked about her wedding plans and her relationship with fiance Fergie.
The "Under the Influence" hitmaker hinted that she didn't like a complicated preparation, which is usually very time-consuming. "Apparently people plan their wedding like years in advance! I found this place, I found a wedding planner, and they were like, 'It's going to be like $300,000,' " King joked. "Then I was like, 'Babe, Vegas is like a quick flight.' So I don't know. I'm just going to let my mom handle it."
King, who was dressed in a black sparkling dress with a deep plunge in the front, showed off her huge knife-through-a-heart tattoo with her fiance's name. She then opened up about the art piece. "It's not even a fake tattoo, it's real," King revealed. "He just got my name tattooed on the front of his neck so it's fair."
King and Dierks Bentley took the stage at the star-studded event and performed their duet "Different for Girls". During their performance, Bentley rocked a black leather jacket and blue jeans.
King announced her engagement to Fergie earlier this year by uploading some sweet photos on Instagram and said that her beau asked her "to marry him on a sailboat under the Golden Gate Bridge." "I thought if I ever got engaged it would be like, 'I dare you to marry me in some dumpster' or whatever," King said. "But like [on a] sailboat under the Golden Gate Bridge? It's beautiful!"
