According to a new report, a massive 'Mean Girls' feud is happening behind the scenes of the third 'Pitch Perfect' installment.

AceShowbiz - A massive "Mean Girls" feud is happening behind the scenes of "Pitch Perfect 3". The clash between Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Elizabeth Banks reportedly is the reason behind the recent push-back of the release date and Elizabeth's exit as director.
According to insiders, Anna and Rebel have been at the center of drama. "Rebel pretends to be this really laid back funny girl but in real life she is not at all like that," a source tells Radar Online. "She can be really mean. And she was mean to Anna too. Rebel just couldn't hide her feelings and she was nasty to Anna. Everyone knows about it, but no one does anything."
"They're the complete opposite," the source says, before adding that Rebel's attitude was the bone of contention for Anna. "Rebel can be cold and sometimes makes people feel bad," adds the source.
A second source claims Elizabeth quit her directing gig because she was pushed out of the job by Anna. "Anna hates Elizabeth, that's why she left 'Pitch Perfect 3'!" the second source explains, "The tension between them has been growing and it just reached a point where they couldn't deal with it anymore."
Elizabeth's departure from "Pitch Perfect 3" came after its release date was pushed back to December 22, 2017. According to the actress, parental duties kept her from taking the directing gig.
"It was all timing," Elizabeth said at the annual PGA on the Sony Lot in Culver City. "We feel obligated to put out the best movie, and anyone who has done sequels, this third one is hard to figure out what the story is. We want to give the audience what it wants but not making it repetitive."
She added, "We have been in development and it took longer than we thought, and I needed to shoot another movie in the summer. If we pushed into fall it bumped up against my parental responsibilities, which made me feel uncomfortable."
