The text messages alleged to be between Amber and Johnny's assistant stated that the actor 'kicked' the actress and had done that 'many times before.'

AceShowbiz - New details about Johnny Depp's alleged attack on Amber Heard have emerged. Entertainment Tonight obtained some screen shots of some text messages reportedly between the "Magic Mike XXL" actress and the 52-year-old actor's assistant Stephen Deuters.

The text exchange is allegedly from May 2014 before Amber and Johnny tied the knot and long before she filed for divorce from him. The exchange began with the man alleged to be Johnny's assistant apologizing on behalf of Johnny, who was said to have "kicked" the actress.

"Think he's just texted you. He's incredibly apologetic and knows that he has done wrong," Stephen's alleged text read. "He wants to get better now. He's been very explicit about that this morning. Feel like we're at a critical juncture."

The recipient alleged to be Amber then responded, "Yes but I don't know how to be around him after what he did to me yesterday. I don't know if I can stay with him." Stephen answered, "He wants to see you so much. He's distraught."

Amber texted back and said that she would take care of herself following the alleged attack. She added, "Obviously he has no idea what he did or the extent that he did it. If someone was truly honest with him about how bad it really was, he'd be appalled... I'm sad that he doesn't have a better way to really know the severity of his actions yesterday. Unfortunately for me, I remember in full detail everything that happened."

Stephen seemingly hinted that Johnny was unconscious when he did all of the abusive actions. "He was appalled," Stephen wrote. "When I told him he kicked you, he cried. It was disgusting. And he knows it."

"He's a little lost boy. And needs all the help he can get," Stephen allegedly continued. "He is so very sorry, as he should be," Stephens added, to which Amber responded, "He's done this many times before. Tokyo, the island, London (remember that?!), and I always stay. Always believe he's going to get better...And then every 3 or so month [sic], I'm in the exact same position."

The site which obtained the photos of the text messages says that there's no word yet on whether the pictures are authentic or altered.

Amber filed for divorce from Johnny on May 23, citing irreconcilable differences. She alleged that Johnny had been "verbally and physically abusive" during their four-year relationship and 15-month marriage. Days later, she was granted temporary restraining order against the actor.
