After the incident that killed one and injured three at Irving Plaza, Live Nation cancels or postpones a total of six concerts that were scheduled to take place this weekend.

AceShowbiz - The shooting at T.I.'s Irving Plaza, New York concert affects other acts' upcoming shows in the city. Following last week's incident that killed one person and injured three, promoter Live Nation has decided to either cancel or postpone a total of six scheduled gigs that were supposed to take place this weekend at Irving Plaza or Gramercy Theatre

"In light of last week's tragic event, we are acting with an overabundance of caution and coordinating a going forward strategy with the New York Police Department that may also include a curfew," a spokesperson for Irving Plaza and Gramercy Theatre told Rolling Stone. "Because these discussions with New York Police Department are ongoing, we will be postponing a few of our upcoming shows."

Rappers YG, Mac Miller, Joey Bada$$ and Vince Staples as well as rock acts Guns N' Roses cover band Appetite for Destruction and duo Black Pistol Fire were those having their shows scrapped. Joey Bada$$, who was set to play Irving Plaza on Thursday, June 2, previously took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce the cancellation and blame it on the NYPD, which then denied the claim.

Troy Ave was arrested and charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon after the Irving Plaza shooting last week. He was shown in surveillance video opening fire backstage after fellow rapper Maino's performance, but he pleaded not guilty to all charges.

His lawyer claimed that the rapper's actions were in self-defense after he and his bodyguard Ronald McPhatter were shot by an unidentified assailant. In the incident, Ave got shot in the leg while McPhatter died from a gunshot wound to the stomach.
