The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor reportedly tried to suffocate the 30-year-old actress during a drunken attack which happened back in December 2015.

AceShowbiz - Some new information about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's tumultuous marriage has surfaced. The 30-year-old actress' gal pal told The Post that the "Black Mass" actor once attempted to suffocate the actress with a pillow when he was drunk.
The friend said that Amber texted her when the alleged terrifying attack happened last December. She then rushed to the couple's apartment in Los Angeles, where she claimed she discovered Amber "with a cut and bruised lip, a swollen eye and a chunk of hair missing from the top of her head."
"I have personally witnessed the aftermath of Johnny Depp's violent and abusive behavior towards her on many occasions," she said. "This incident really stuck with me because she confided in me that day that she feared for her life after an intoxicated Johnny tried to suffocate her with a pillow."
Three months after the alleged attack, Johnny injured his right hand after reportedly punching a wall during a fierce fight with Amber in Australia. The actor, who was in the country to film "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales", was forced to take one-month break to recover from his injury. On March 11, 2015, he was spotted with a bandage around his hand before boarding a private jet.
Depp had a pin inserted in one of his fingers. His injury was reported at the time, but details of how it could happen were not revealed.
A separate source claimed that the couple "fought all the time" and their relationship got worse after they tied the knot in February 2015. "It started a few months after they got married and it just never got better. It was extremely volatile," the source told Entertainment Tonight.
