Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood Welcomes Twins at Age 68

The Rolling Stones' guitarist and his wife Sally announced the births of their twin daughters Gracie Jane and Alice Rose on Monday.

AceShowbiz - Ronnie Wood is a father again at 68 years old. The rocker's wife Sally, who is 30 years his junior, gave birth to their twin daughters named Gracie Jane and Alice Rose on late Monday evening, May 30, so his publicist has confirmed.

"Ronnie & Sally Wood are delighted to announce the birth of their twins Gracie Jane (6lb) & Alice Rose (5.7lb)," so the publicist said in a statement, adding, "The girls arrived on 30 May at 22:30 and all are doing brilliantly. The babies are perfect."

Sally also took to Twitter to share her excitement about being a new mom. "Thank you all so much for the [heart emojis] ~ can't believe our babies are a day old already. They are wonderful xx," she tweeted on Tuesday.

Ronnie and Sally, the owner of a theater production company, got married on December 21, 2012. They announced that they were expecting twins in late 2015. "Sally and Ronnie Wood are delighted to announce that they are expecting twins in June 2016. Needless to say, they are thrilled and overjoyed with the wonderful news," a spokesperson for his band The Rolling Stones said at the time.

The newborn babies are Ronnie's fifth and sixth children, but the first for his wife. The Rolling Stones' guitarist is also a dad to Jesse (39), adopted son Jamie (41), Leah (37) and Tyrone (32). He also has ten grandchildren.
