Troy pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges during a hearing Monday night, May 30 at Manhattan Criminal Court. His lawyer Scott Leemon said his client was the "real victim." Scott added, "[Troy's] longtime friend and bodyguard died trying to protect him. As my co-counsel, John Stella, said in court, Troy has no criminal record and he is not a gangsta rapper."
