The singer temporarily stopped her Tuesday, May 3 concert at Carter-Finley Stadium because of the severe weather before resuming it later in the night.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles was forced to halt her Raleigh, North Carolina show on Tuesday night, May 3 due to bad weather. The open-air concert at Carter-Finley Stadium, which was part of her ongoing "Formation" tour, had to be stopped midway through because of lightning.

Bey had performed some of her songs in the rain before fans were finally evacuated at around 10:00 P.M. She eventually resumed the show at 11:30 P.M. after the storm passed. "Thank y'all so much! The show is not over!" she told concertgoers upon returning to the stage.

Beyonce's "Formation" tour, which is supporting her new album "Lemonade", was kicked off on April 27 in Miami. The halted Raleigh show came only days after the "Single Ladies" hitmaker announced she'd postpone her Nashville concert for some unknown reasons.

The "Formation" World Tour Twitter account said a construction at Nissan Stadium was the reason behind the postponement. The venue, however, has denied the claims, saying they're "ready and able to host the May 5 Beyonce show." They now "look forward to the rescheduled event."
