AceShowbiz - "Star Wars Episode VIII" won't arrive in U.S. theaters until December 2017, but here are some sneak-peeks to keep fans entertained. Director Rian Johnson took to his Tumblr page Thursday, April 28 to post a couple of behind-the-scenes photos and reveal that filming's already "halfway" complete.

One of the black-and-white images offers a glimpse of an X-Wing ship. The other, meanwhile, appears to show the interior of a First Order vessel or base. Both pictures came with a caption that read, " 'Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the microfiber sham.' I can't believe we're halfway through the shoot. (We're halfway through the shoot!)."
