Watch Orcs and Humans Unite in New 'Warcraft' Trailer
Movie

To save the world, some orcs take humans' side in a battle against their own kind in the movie adaptation of the popular fantasy video game.

AceShowbiz - War is coming in a new trailer for "Warcraft", an adaptation of the popular fantasy video game franchise. The latest sneak peek offers a bunch of new action scenes as it highlights the conflict between humans and orcs, who invade the human-settled Azeroth.

But saving the world is not a one man job, as Khadgar (Ben Schnetzer) says in the video. "We fight together, or we die together," says Durotan (Toby Kebbell), chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan, who will do anything to save his people and his family from the vengeful Shadow Council and the destruction of their world. So Durotan and some other orcs join humans in an epic battle against his own kind.

In "Warcraft", the peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

Producer Stuart Fennegan once said that the Horde (orc race) might not be completely bad guys. "Rather than, oh, it's the good guys versus the bad guys... I think you know we really want to make sure that an audience, whether they know what the hell the Alliance and the Horde are, when they leave go, it's like, yeah, he was a good guy. And that guy was a good guy too," explained the producer.

Also starring Travis Fimmel as Sir Anduin Lothar, Paula Patton as Garona Halforce, Ben Foster as Medivh, Dominic Cooper as King Llane Wrynn, Daniel Wu as Gul'dan and many others, the movie is directed by Duncan Jones. It is set to open in theaters across the nation on June 10.
