Paul Stanley Misses KISS Benefit Concert After Tearing His Bicep

AceShowbiz - Paul Stanley was a no-show at a KISS charity performance at the annual Race to Erase MS benefit in Los Angeles Friday, April 15. The 64-year-old rocker was forced to bail out to recover from a surgery for his torn bicep tendon.

"Tore my bicep tendon. Surgery reattached it with a screw and stitches to anchor in place. Not much I can do now!" he posted on Facebook along with a picture of his wearing a sling. He later updated, "Thanks to my AMAZING doctor I WILL be great & ready to rock WAAAAYYYY before the tour! CAN'T WAIT!‪#‎FreedomToRock‬."

Gene Simmons performed with guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer at the fund raiser at the Beverly Hilton. They delivered "Cold Gin", "Deuce", "Rock and Roll All Nite" and "Calling Dr. Love". They were joined by other guests like Eric Benet and David Foster.
