AceShowbiz - Ezekiel and Shiva are indeed coming to "The Walking Dead" in season 7, according to a post on the official "Walking Dead" Facebook account. To celebrate National Pet Day, they posted on Monday, April 11 a picture of Ezekiel and his pet tiger from the comic book and confirmed the upcoming arrival of those two characters on the TV show.
"Don't worry, #WalkingDead show fans. You'll get to meet Ezekiel and Shiva next season," so read the original caption in the image. The post has been edited to remove the spoilery detail and the caption now reads, "Happy #NationalPetDay! We hope you're loving your pet as much as Ezekiel loves Shiva!"
Speculations about Ezekiel and Shiva's arrival in the upcoming seventh season first arose following the airing of season 6's penultimate episode. In the said outing, Rick saw a mystery man who donned a protective armor, leading fans to assume that he's from the Kingdom, a community led by a former zookeeper named Ezekiel. Shiva is Ezekiel's pet tiger.
"The Walking Dead" season 7 is expected to premiere in the fall on AMC.
